We are grateful for the help our community provided us over the years.
We are a local business supported by the local community.
Without this community, we would not be here.
This is why we in turn, support local community projects that need volunteer experts.

We are creating a community school garden at Olivia Park Elementary School in South Everett.
" The goal was to create an outdoor environment where the children, their teachers and parents feel safe, inspired and joyful. We intended to create a site that helps them get their exercise without them noticing it; a space where they learn about all the different applied sciences, yet they feel as if they are playing. And of course, we wanted to ensure that they will be able to enhance their diets and change the way they think of food." (Olivia Park Garden Description by Zsofia Pasztor)

Wildlife is very important to all of us whether we are aware of this fact or not. Any site can and should be a habitat for the beneficial insects, birds and other critters. In order to attract and keep wildlife on a site, care must be taken to provide the exact kind of food and shelter they need.

We were part of the design team and had the privilege to be the installer of these wonderful seven rain garden sites in North Everett. Every rain garden is different using a variety of new technologies and infiltrating stormwater into the ground. This truly remarkable one-of-a-kind project culminated into the BIG planting day when Cisco came to the site and held his show right in the middle of the commotion.

Farmer Frog is a model of working with the land, people, communitiy, vegetation and wildlife in a way that benefits all of these and provides sustainable livelihood to those who work and grow their food in the space. The blog is an ongoing conversation between us and the world. Check it from time to time to see what is happening. If you are interested in community efforts and gardening, this is the place for you!
...the story never ends. Every garden is a story, every tree, plant and every critter who lives around it - so is every single person who enjoys the garden.
We are the story.
And the story never ends.
Sitting on a bench and just being is one of the most sublime gifts one can experience.
The garden speaks to us. It dances. It sings.
It never stops.
Some of the stories you can read or watch here were written about us. Some were written by us. Some are not like stories at all - more like recommendations about gardening....so you can learn from these articles and create your own happy garden story.
The story, that never ends.
" Trees for the most part grow the same: from the ground up. They use gravity to guide them in their push for freedom finding the straight line up to heaven. In the good years they put on a show and they grow nice long branches loaded with leaves, flowers and fruits. In the bad years they grow under the ground: their roots get thicker and larger in search for food and water. If the light is hidden from them, they will seek it out. They will twist and turn their limbs until they reach the light and can grow straight toward the sky once again.
Trees, of the same kind, in the woods will connect with each other and their roots form one living carpet under the thin or thick layers of soil. They hold one another up together in the storms and brave the weather as one giant tree with many trunks.
I am a tree. I stretch out my roots to touch the next one and I find my way until my face bathes in the sun. I am the tree and I am the woods too. You hold me and I hold you. I protect you. And you, please, oh, please, just carry me through. " (by Zsofa Pasztor)
